On  Sept 4 & 5 Sept 2010 the Power Jam Music Alliance and St Mary's County will hold the  Park Rock Fest 2010 at the Chancellors Run Regional Park.  20109 will mark the 8th year of holding this community event. 

There are Five Music Venues with 10 band (or more)  at each venue with a total of  120 (or more)  bands performing concurrently throughout the two days. New for 2010 are have two stage at the North and South music venues.  These stages will have non-stop music at bands alternate play on each stage.  The East Venue will feature acoustic, blues, Jazz, and other soloist.  The field stage will host Metal Bands and major bands.  The Pavilion Stage is going all out for the HIp Hop and Rapp groups.

Surrounding the stages there are three areas to where vendors and community groups will be sharing and participating in the event.  There are  two  Food Courts ares where vendors will satisfy the hunger and thirst of the attendees.  There are two  Market Place areas where area vendors will be displaying and or selling their merchandise and services.  Lastly, the Community Center is for civic, educational, welfare and social organizations to sharing their group's goals, ideas and services.
